Runnerbox Review and Giveaway!

The people at Runner Box were gracious enough to send me one of their great little Runnerboxes for review. I was pretty excited to get one of these things and wondered what would be in one? It was kind of like the excitement you get when you receive a gift on your birthday. So what is this Runnerbox that I'm speaking of? This is what their website had to say:

RunnerBox is a subscription based box for runners, triathletes and other active people. It is a mini shoebox filled with running products, mailed to your front door. It has everything from energy products, gels, chews, protein shakes/supplements, nutrition bars, skincare, and other accessories! Some products will be brand new (but personally tested) on the market, and some will be tried and true favorites. With so many products coming out on the market, leave the trials and testing to us, we’ll search out the best and send them to you!

You've probably seen or heard of this kind of service for other things such as boxes geared toward beauty or other products like cheese or wine but this one is geared specifically to runners or triathletes. You can choose a tribox or in my case the runnerbox and they can either be shipped as a gift or to yourself as a one time service, a monthly subscription or a 6 month subscription.

So whats in the box?

It had a cool assortment of different energy gels, some athletic wipes, protein recovery powder and then some things I've never used before like the cocovita mix. The Runnerbox will run you about 25 dollars after shipping.

I like the concept and although its exciting to get a box every month. I don't know if I'd actually subscribe to it. I would however purchase one of these boxes for my runner friends as a gift. What runner wouldn't love one of these cool boxes!

Speaking of gifts. I'd like offer one of you a Runnerbox in my giveaway!

  8. Races without chocolate milk at the finish are somewhat disappointing.
Whenever I can, I have my daughter waiting at the finish with a couple of cold chocolate chugs.

  9. I agree with Bill, runs without chocolate milk are a little disappointing. Chocolate milk and peanut butter or bananas are always what I go for.

  11. I love to refuel with fruit. Especially oranges. But I would love to try other things, fruit is always the easiest.
